Who We Are
A beginning point, not a destination.
We are an open and affirming congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). We follow the teachings of Jesus, who welcomed everyone he met — and we strive to do the same, offering a warm welcome to people of every background.
We see faith as a journey, and our church as a place to begin it rather than a destination to arrive at. Wherever you are in your walk with God, you are invited to explore it here, among friends.
What We Believe
The faith we hold, in our own words.
Open & Affirming
We are an open and affirming congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). We follow the teachings of Jesus, who welcomed everyone — and so do we.
The Word of God
We believe the Bible is the Word of God. Meditating on it, we come to understand the grand story of redemption through Jesus, and how his self-sacrificial love transforms hearts, minds, and systems.
The Apostles’ Creed
With Christians across the centuries, we confess our faith in God the Father, in Jesus Christ his Son, and in the Holy Spirit — the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, and the life everlasting.
A Place to Begin
We see faith as a journey, and our church as a beginning point rather than a destination. Wherever you are, you are welcome to explore it here with us.
The Apostles’ Creed
We confess with the whole Church:
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Our Mission
To guide people of all backgrounds into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our Hope
To seek the transformation of our city as ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
