Dr. Joe Pettigrew

Joe received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, his Master’s degree from Murray State University, and his Ph.D. from the University of Memphis.

He worked as a college dean and leadership professor before founding In The Zone Ministries with Kyle Rote, Jr. in 2007. He continues to write a daily devotional — The Daily Huddle — that begins thousands of mornings in the Word of God.

In 2021, Joe and his wife, Trudy, moved to Brownsville, Tennessee, where he accepted the position as Pastor of First Presbyterian Church. He preaches, teaches, and walks with the congregation as they seek the transformation of their city for Christ.
